Marble Inspection Services: Three Stages

Our marble inspection services cover the stages where problems are cheapest to fix. After each inspection you receive a detailed report by e-mail, with photographs.

Block selection at the quarry: we check colour and shade consistency across the block, the veining pattern and how it will look once the block is cut into slabs, cracks, fissures and stains, and the block dimensions and squareness.
Slab inspection before shipment: inspection is carried out at the factory before bundling and loading, so problems are found while they can still be corrected.
Tile inspection and quality control: we check for breaks, cracks, edge chipping and mitre faults that cannot be seen at the production stage.

Who carries out the inspection?

Oğuz Sücüllü, a geological engineer with a degree from Dokuz Eylül University (2008). Since 2009 he has worked in marble production, quality control and inspection, including quarry block selection, slab shade control and export quality verification.
